I have been taking pictures since I could remember. However, those pictures were just for personal use. I did not even share them much to the public.
Last February (2014),  my brother gave me a Sony Exmor. Of course, I was happy to receive it, AND it was free, I know that this camera is not that cheap, meaning, it gives good quality pictures.
It took me awhile to get used to it. Honestly, I was scared, because, I have never touched nor handled a pricey camera before. ...aside from the fact that, it is a Japanese camera-with all the Japanese characters as the commands. But, hey, as what my brother said, all I need were the basic instructions. True indeed, as long as I know how to delete, I am good. I learned through the icons (symbols) for me to choose the proper scenes.
Now, I make it a point to bring my camera every where I go. Sometimes, I feel frustrated for not having a photo subject, but, I am in no rush. I take pictures on things that I see around me. My yard alone, has a lot of interesting subjects.
I am sharing these photos to you. I just can't imagine how much I was able to capture my subjects through my lens. I added some 'dramatic' effects, captions on each photos, "sayings" that may or may not affect you...but they do mean a lot to me.
Thank you for taking time in viewing my photos. I am happy to share these to you.

One of my first subjects. This was taken at our backyard.
This squirrel caught my interest. He was so busy with his precious find.

This beetle was on top of our trash bin. It took me awhile until I got the perfect shot.
The climate was so warm and humid, summer time, I decided to take a picture of my cold Root Beer drink.
It was kinda odd, heavy rains on the first onset of summer.

I have attended (my first) High School Band concert. The students were amazing.
Birds are one of my challenging photo subjects. They are my usual visitors in my yard.
